Peti Lau is an award-winning, bicoastal interior designer working between New York and Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Founder of Peti Lau Design, a full-service studio known for bold, soulful interiors that blend maximalist elegance with globally inspired storytelling. Her work reflects a refined yet expressive aesthetic, shaped by a deep appreciation for art, culture, and travel.
With a globally influenced portfolio spanning Los Angeles, New York, London, Thailand, and Mauritius, Peti has cultivated a discerning clientele that includes celebrities, musicians, filmmakers, and high-profile executives seeking homes that feel both personal and unforgettable. Her Pasadena project graced the cover of LUXE Interiors + Design (Los Angeles, May/June 2025), further solidifying her reputation as a leading voice in contemporary luxury interiors.
Known for blending clean architectural lines with lush textures, antiques, and bespoke contemporary pieces, Peti draws from a global network of artisans and makers to create layered, one-of-a-kind spaces. A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, where she received the Rising Star Award in 2023, Peti also studied historical architecture in London. She is a member of the Design Leadership Network and serves on the boards of the AAPI Design Alliance and Design Los Angeles, where she champions mentorship, community, and greater representation within the design industry.

The award honors a talented individual relatively early in their career, who is becoming a recognized name in the field and demonstrates great promise and leadership.
