With two decades of experience, she runs her own design firm in the lively La Cienega Design District of LA, helping clients coast to coast. Her personalized approach instills confidence in design choices, timelines, and budgets, while she expertly curates meaningful art for both seasoned collectors and newbies alike. Her expertise is boosted by jaunts to top global art fairs like Frieze and Art Basel.

Peti Lau’s style shines through with sleek lines, rich textures, and clever details, creating spaces that exude elegance and harmony. With her keen sourcing skills, she connects with a vast network of artists and suppliers, ensuring her picks are high-quality, custom-made treasures that marry stunning antiques with unique contemporary pieces. For Peti, design is more than a career; it’s her passion, discovered after exploring roles as an opera singer, restaurateur, and entrepreneur while working on projects in Thailand and Mauritius. To sharpen her design chops, Peti relocated to New York City for the New York School of Interior Design and later continued in London.

With 20 years of experience, she creates projects that blend classic styles, significant historical elements, and rich cultural influences. In 2023, she snagged the NYSID Rising Star award and now mentors aspiring designers. Peti is also an active member of the Design Leadership Network, co-founded the AAPI Design Alliance on the West Coast, and serves on the board of Design LA, advocating for Asian American and Pacific Islander designers and students. Her amazing work and expertise have graced top magazines like Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, and platforms like HGTV/Discovery+, among others.
